Review of weight-bearing design
We introduce the weight-bearing system into 《Refight:The Last Warship》.Warship has its upper limit of bearing(safe load).Depending on the type of warship,each warship has its base limit of bearing,for example,battleship’s limit is higher than destroyer’s. And storage module can raise the upper limit,which is to say that the higher the level of storage module,the higher the upper limit will be.Players can find storage tanks of different qualities(capacities)in the game.The quality can be distinguished by conspicuous blue and orange color,and both can increase the corresponding value of upper limit.
Different type of warship has different speed in this game.Every prop has different weight.When total weight of warship get over the certain value,there will be penalty for warship’s speed.
 
Load’s impact on mobility:
1、No impact on mobility when warship’s weight is within the upper limit.
2、There will be impacts when the weight is over the limit.The impact of load on mobility is divided into several stages.For example,x% over the limit is 1st stage,y% is 2nd and z% is 3rd.Each stage has its formula.The higher the weight,the the more sever the penalty,the lower the speed is.
 
 
Stages of penalty for load
Warship actual total weight=ship weight+equipped parts weight+storage module’s goods weight
Assuming the actual weight is x% over the limit,it can be divided into several stages.Specific impacts will be adjusted according to the actual performance of the game.
Ø  Stage 1(0 current max speed=speed limit*a1
current forward gear acceleration%deceleration,maximum angular speed of steering and time from 0 to full rudder are all affected.
 
Ø Stage 2(x1 current max speed=speed limit*a2
current forward gear acceleration%deceleration,maximum angular speed of steering and time from 0 to full rudder are all affected.
 
Ø stage 3(x>x2):
The current maximum speed is inversely proportional to x% excess the displacement.The bigger the x is,the lower the speed will be(until reduced to 0).

Plan for load
Naval guns,shells and torpedoes are necessary for fierce battle while armors and auxiliary materials are not.
Nice naval gun and ample ammunition are enough for long fight.
Excellent mobility can make warship avoid gunfire effectively、get into safe area quickly and search supply more efficiently.
Players should make a reasonable plan for load  according to the situation in the game.
